
A man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a stabbing in south London.
Officers received reports of a man suffering a stab injury on Brixton Road, Lambeth, around 5.10am on Thursday, the Metropolitan Police said.
The man, believed to be in his 30s, died at the scene.
His next of kin have been informed.

A man was held at the scene on suspicion of murder, with inquiries ongoing, the force added.
A crime scene remains in place on Brixton Road and Coldharbour Lane, with a forensic tent set up.
The LondonAmbulance Service also confirmed its attendance, saying its first paramedic arrived in less than one minute.
“Despite the best efforts of our crews to save his life, a man was sadly pronounced dead at the scene,” a spokesperson said.

The Met Police is appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
Helen Hayes, MP for Dulwich and West Norwood, said: “I’m devastated that a young man lost his life in a stabbing on Coldharbour Lane in my constituency this morning.
“My thoughts are with the family & friends of the victim.”
