
A Rangers star is at the centre of a police probe over his antics during his team’s winning goal celebrations against Celtic on Sunday.
Vaclav Cerny, 27, was spotted spraying rival fans with a water bottle as he raced along the touchline in excitement over teammate Hamza Igamane’s last-gasp winner.
Sky Sports captured the incident as the cameras panned to Barry Ferguson to get the reaction of Rangers’ interim manager.
The actions of Czech winger Cerny – who is on loan from German Bundesliga side Wolfsburg – sparked a furious reaction from the Hoops supporters, with police and security forced to step in to defuse the situation.

Police Scotland has now confirmed it is looking into the incident.
A force spokesperson said: “Officers received information and enquiries are ongoing.”
Rangers have been contacted for comment.
