
One man has been found dead and another was left with “potentially life-changing facial injuries” after a double stabbing in Coventry, police have said.
Officers from West Midlands Police were called to Newcombe Road just before 2pm, on Saturday, after two men were discovered with serious stab wounds inside a property.
A man in his 50s was found dead, police said.
They added a second man, also in his 50s, had suffered potentially life-changing facial injuries and was taken to hospital.
Police said a 51-year-old man from the same city had been arrested on suspicion of murder.
He remains in custody for questioning.

In a statement, West Midlands Police added: “A scene is still in place as we carry out forensic examinations and other enquiries.
“Officers will be carrying out additional patrols in the area to reassure and support the local community over the coming days and we urge anyone with concerns or information to contact us.”
